The Meaning of the WDT Logo

My Logo orginated using the NOUS DEFIONS logo of the United States Special Forces. The logo is used by the Special Forces Advanced Reconnaissance and Target Exploitation Course (SFARTEC), also known as Range 37, which is offered at the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School on Fort Bragg, NC.

Special Forces Operators are required to complete this course in order to be qualified CIF (Combatant Commander's In-extremis Force) members. I graduated this course and was assigned to the CIF during my service in Special Forces. This assignment helped me fine tune Direct Action (DA) skills.

We Defy is the english translation of Nous Defions.

I replaced the Special Forces V-42 WWII Stiletto with the USMC KA-BAR to represent my service in the Marine Corps.

One arrow was replaced with a tomahawk, representing my time in 75th Ranger Regiment and honoring Rogers' Rangers.

The second arrow represents my service in Special Forces and 3rd Special Forces group.

I wanted to replace the skull wearing the dive mask, but I also wanted to keep the angle of the skull as much as possible, to honor the original logo.

The skull represents my fallen brothers:

And lastly, I chose to use "tactics" because that is my ultimate goal, to teach students the ever changing tactics to fight back with any and all necessary force to subdue and/or eliminate an attacker or aggressor. This goal is never ending because we should constantly train and practice the skills and fundamentals and tactics necessary to protect ourselves and our loved ones.
